Sometimes You Don't Need Another Full-Time Provider.
Speech-language staffing needs don't always fit neatly into a full-time position.
A caseload may need coverage two days per week. A building may have an unexpected vacancy. Evaluations may begin to accumulate. A leave of absence may create a temporary need. Or an existing staffing provider may simply be unable to fill every day or position requested by the district.

As a direct-contract provider, I can partner with districts to provide consistent, targeted SLP support for the portion of their needs that remains unfilled without requiring a full-time staffing commitment.

School-based speech-language pathology requires more than providing therapy minutes.
Before becoming an SLP, I spent seven years as an elementary educator. I later worked as a school-based speech-language pathologist across preschool through high school, giving me a unique understanding of both the clinical and educational sides of student support.
I understand the importance of working within a school community, collaborating with teachers, Child Study Teams, administrators, related-service providers, paraprofessionals, and families while balancing student needs, IEP requirements, schedules, documentation, and the realities of the school day.
Through Coastal Speech Therapy, districts work directly with the SLP providing the services, allowing for consistent communication, continuity of care, and a collaborative relationship with the educational team.
